HOW IS TITRIVIN MADE?

  • 1
    WINE SELECTION
Maud and Paul work closely with local wineries and wine merchants to select representative wines that most closely align with the target values for each product. Every step is guided by rigorous processes that ensure reproducibility, traceability, and reliability. We are committed to providing you with high-quality analytical support to ensure the robustness of your results.

    ASSEMBLY
To ensure the “wine matrix” effect, each TITRIVIN solution is prepared by Sophie M. using an exclusive and precise blend of wines and/or musts. The various analytical parameters are adjusted to target values, selected to form coherent, well-distributed ranges tailored to the needs of laboratories. The solution is then stabilized through various fining processes (bentonite, gelatin, etc.) and multiple filtrations. The solution is also stabilized against tartaric precipitation during cold treatment. SO₂ is the only preservative used.

    PACKAGING
TITRIVIN products are packaged in 10-mL dual-tip ampoules or 240-mL vials by pharmaceutical manufacturers that guarantee the quality of the filling process. This step marks the release of the raw materials stored in Blanquefort. We also have our newest product, a 3-liter bag-in-box—ideal for monitoring your analyses and the stability of your IRTF—the result of two years of research.

    HOMOGENEITY AND STABILITY
Quality control tests are performed by our laboratory team throughout the production process. - Homogeneity testing During packaging, we take samples to verify the homogeneity of the product, both within and between each unit of the produced batch. - Short-term stability testing Maud places the samples under various conditions (extreme temperatures) to study a “transport effect.”

    CHARACTERIZATION / VALUE ASSIGNMENT
A series of tests is specifically designed to determine the reference value for each parameter in a new batch. This is known as characterization. Each year, Maud and Faustine select and evaluate approximately fifty accredited laboratories. They analyze our TITRIVIN products using official OIV methods or internal methods based on OIV standards, conducting two independent analyses per parameter. The results of this testing sequence are then processed using robust statistical methods. Maud and Sophie S verify the results and issue a reference material certificate. Each parameter has a reference value associated with a combined uncertainty.

    MARKETING
New batches are now available for sale. Guislaine processes your order, and Érik prepares your package. Our laboratory verifies the stability of the parameters every 4 months throughout the batch’s shelf life—which is 6 years—to guarantee 5 years of stability. Thanks to this manufacturing process, TITRIVIN products are true certified reference materials.
